the process
STEP ONE
Understanding your company. Researching your market, competitors, services and goals is essential to identifying your business needs.
STEP TWO
Creating a plan. In a one-on-one discussion, I will ask you about your needs and recruit your ideas about how you would like to present your company. I will then draw up a plan for the materials you need and an estimate of the cost of those materials.
STEP THREE
Idea Phase. Once we start working, I will spend time researching and sketching ideas. Those ideas will be translated into a number of options I will present and discuss with you. Any changes will be made before we proceed.
STEP FOUR
Implementation. Once we are both happy with the design, we will incorporate it into all the materials of the project, creating a cohesive theme throughout the products.
STEP FIVE
The Final Product. This phase is the printing, publishing or manufacturing of your products. It includes getting quotes from printers, servers and vendors and supervising the process.
a word about branding
A brand is a name, term, design, symbol, or any other feature that identifies one seller's good or service as distinct from those of other sellers. I have seen many badly branded businesses in my career that many of them don't realize how important it is to maintain their visual identity. Today many businesses re-brand themselves to give their identity a fresh new look. By re-branding your business, you make your company stand out from the competition. Branding should be the first step in visually identifying your business.
the importance of a good design
How many companies have you skipped over because their websites or advertisements did not look professional or were hard to read?
Your company identity has just a few seconds to impress prospects, and its design is priceless. Your logo is a reflection of your business that sets your company apart from the competition.
If your business has a strong, simple and credible logo design, customers will be attracted to your company and will pick you as their chosen provider. It is not the cost of your goods or the attributes of your company that first attract customers. It is your look.
how a good designer makes a difference
The creation of your company's visual identity is an investment in your future. Often businesses go the cheap (or even free) route, but having a computer and software does not make someone an identity designer. A professional designer provides much more than "just a logo".
Afalla Graphics will research your company, your market, your competitors and you, to create the best visual representation of your business. A consistent branding message is created by carrying that identity into dozens of items including business cards and stationery, websites, marketing presentations, advertisements, packaging, signs and more.
